The Richmond Arts Corridor is a designated area of the city that shows off the arts from our community. The arts can be music, murals, poems, sculptures and even plants and trees.
To help make the arts corridor a reality, in October of 2024, the Richmond City Council passed a resolution designating Macdonald Avenue and 23rd Street with the vision of becoming a World-Class Arts Corridor that connects our community to the arts.
But this is just the beginning. Great places are built by the people who live, create, and care within them.
The Richmond Arts Corridor will thrive when the community leads—your voice, your vision, and your values are essential. Join us in shaping a corridor that celebrates our city's artistic spirit, honors our legacy, and builds opportunity for all.

The Richmond Arts Corridor survey is ready. Take just 10 minutes to complete our questionnaire, which will inform the type of art, events, and stories the community wants to be represented in the plan for the Richmond Arts Corridor.
Whether you are a long-term Richmond resident, a newcomer, a local, or a supporter of the arts in general, all are welcome to share their vision for the heart of Richmond filled with arts and culture.
Once you've filled it out, please share it with at least five friends to help spread the word about the arts corridor. We need widespread support to make this vision a reality.
If you or your organization is interested in doing outreach for the survey, .
After completing the survey, please share it with at least 5 friends. Your voice matters, and so does theirs!
A vibrant cultural pathway connecting communities through art, culture, and creativity
